These Terms & Conditions govern your use of https://www.capandculture.co.uk and any purchase made through the website.

1. About Us

Cap & Culture UK is a UK-based retailer supplying microscopy spore products and gourmet mycology supplies.

2. Product Use & Legal Disclaimer

All microscopy spore products sold by Cap & Culture UK are supplied strictly for microscopy, taxonomy, and educational research purposes only.

Products are not intended for cultivation

Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws

We do not condone or support illegal activity

All gourmet mushroom products are supplied solely for lawful edible species.

3. Ordering & Contract Formation

A legally binding contract is formed once payment is received and an order confirmation email is issued. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP

Prices include VAT where applicable

Payment must be made in full at checkout

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors

5. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed

Risk passes to the customer upon delivery

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs processes. For orders shipped outside the UK, the customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the products ordered are legal to import into their destination country.

Cap & Culture UK is not responsible for orders that are delayed, rejected, or seized by customs or border authorities. In such circumstances, no refund or replacement will be issued unless the goods are successfully returned to us in their original condition.

Any customs fees, duties, or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

6. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the nature of our products, certain items are exempt from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

This includes:

Sealed microscopy spore products

Sterile laboratory and mycology supplies

Once these items have been dispatched, they are not eligible for cancellation or return for reasons of hygiene, sterility, and contamination prevention, unless faulty or damaged on arrival.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Faulty or Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or faulty, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery, providing photographic evidence where possible. We will assess the issue and offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for misuse of products

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, and logos, is the intellectual property of Cap & Culture UK and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. Privacy

11. Governing Law
