1. Introduction
Welcome to Cap & Culture. By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to Cap & Culture. “You” refers to the customer or user.

2. Legal Notice & Intended Use
Cap & Culture supplies spores, sterile media, and microscopy materials for legal research and educational purposes only.
We do not supply products for the cultivation of psilocybin mushrooms or any other controlled substances.

Under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, cultivation of psilocybin-containing mushrooms is illegal in the UK.
By purchasing from Cap & Culture you confirm that:

• You understand and will comply with all local laws.
• You will not use any product purchased from us for illegal purposes.

Our spore syringes and prints are sold exclusively for microscopy and taxonomy research.
Our sterile substrates, grow bags, and related materials are sold only for legal gourmet and edible mushroom species such as Lion’s Mane, Reishi, and Oyster.

3. Age Restriction
All customers must be 18 years of age or older. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order if we believe or have reason to suspect that products may be used for illegal or unsafe purposes, including suspected intent to cultivate controlled mushroom species.

5. Product Information & Disclaimer
All descriptions and images on our website are for educational or illustrative purposes only.
We make no claims regarding yield, potency, or suitability for human consumption.
Any misuse of products sold by Cap & Culture is strictly prohibited.
We accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage arising from improper or illegal use of our products.

Some rare microscopy spores are collected from wild specimens and may not be axenic. As such, contamination is not considered a defect. By purchasing speciality strains, the buyer confirms they are experienced in microscopy and laboratory handling techniques. Refunds or replacements will not be provided for contamination reports on these items.

6. Orders, Payment & Delivery
Orders are accepted at our discretion. Payment must be received in full before dispatch.
We aim to dispatch within the time stated on each product page, but delivery times are estimates only.
Risk in the goods passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address provided.

We offer international shipping to selected countries only. Availability of international shipping may vary depending on local regulations, carrier restrictions, and destination country requirements.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the items ordered are permitted for import into their destination country. Cap & Culture cannot be held responsible for delays, refusals, seizures, or returns caused by customs authorities or local regulations.

Any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

Orders that are returned to us due to customs refusal, incomplete or incorrect address details, or carrier issues may be eligible for reshipment at the customer’s expense or a refund of the product value excluding postage, at our discretion.

7. Returns & Refunds
If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos or evidence.
Due to the sterile and perishable nature of many of our products, returns are accepted only when goods are unused, unopened, and in their original condition.
Refunds are processed once items are received and inspected.

8. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Personal data is processed securely and used only for fulfilling orders, account administration, and communication.
We do not share or sell customer information to third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability
Cap & Culture shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products or website.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the goods purchased.

10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
